SuperHeroHype reports that that Green Lantern visual effects supervisor Karen Goulekas (The Day After Tomorrow, Spider-Man)
has announced on her Blog that the film got the official green light
yesterday (Wednesday) and that filming will start in 10 weeks (sometime
in March). To be directed by Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, GoldenEye), Green Lantern will star Ryan Reynolds and is scheduled for a June 17, 2011 release.
